Stargazing Night for 12th Grade Schwartz/Reisman Rishon LeZion Students!

Last week, 12th-grade physics students from the Schwartz/Reisman Science Education Center in Rishon LeZion went on a stargazing trip to the Ramon Crater as part of their studies in gravity, optics, and electromagnetic waves.

Lying on mats under the crater’s vast night sky, gathered around a warming campfire, students listened to a guided tour of the stars and observed them up close through telescopes.

To close the evening – tea, roasted potatoes by the fire, guitar music, and songs late into the night…

The connection between the stars, the desert, curious young minds, and physics made for an inspiring, educational, and truly unforgettable experience.
