Kfar Saba Campus

The Schwartz/Reisman Science Education Center — Klarman Campus, Kfar Saba, launched its activities in September 2023. Based on the model implemented by the Schwartz/Reisman Science Education Centers throughout Israel, the center applies unique teaching methods developed to teach high school physics.

The center serves high school students from the city of Kfar Saba and from the neighboring Arab municipalities (the Southern Triangle).

This year, the center opened a municipal Research Physics program, which credits participating students with a further 5 units in physics, in addition to the regular 5-unit curriculum. Over the program’s two-year span (following a preparatory year), participants engage in mentored experimental research.

The Klarman Campus — the Kfar Saba center’s permanent home — is currently under construction in the heart of the city’s high school avenue. Ahead of its completion, the center’s team holds classes at the Beit Berl College.

The permanent building will include 20 classrooms, as well as preparation rooms and the Gelfand FabLab. In addition, an elaborate science garden is planned around the center.
